As the Web site’s Personal Data Administrator, we take care in protecting the data published on it. The personal data of ShareTheMusic.com users are specially guarded and protected against being made available to unauthorized persons. We ensure all registered users compliance with rights resulting from personal data protection laws, in particular the right to view own data, the right to request updates and deletion of data and the right to object to cases specified in the rules of this law.
In accordance with ShareTheMusic.com regulation point 4. 2): "By filling-out the registration form and using ShareTheMusic.com, the User gives consent to: the gathering, processing, storing, recording, sharing and deleting of his/her personal data by the Personal Data Administrator, for reasons necessary for the proper functioning of ShareTheMusic.com and administrative and statistical goals.”
Data gathered by us are only and exclusively for the attention of Desh Ltd., with its registered office in Poland and will not be made available, disseminated nor sold to third parties or companies.
The user personal data database maintained by the Web site was registered with the Inspector General for the Protection of Personal Data (GIODO). GIODO as the personal data protection authority in Poland controls the compliance of processed data with regulation rules, issues administrative decisions and investigates complaints in matters of executing rules on personal data protection, maintains a register of data collections, initiates and undertakes actions in the area of improving personal data protection and is engaged in personal data protection problems.
TECHNICAL RULES
A ShareTheMusic.com user, when connecting with the Internet Web site, uses Cookies in any cases to serve in profiling content or storing a user’s individual settings (among others, storing data essential to logging in a user). Information available through Cookies published on the User’s computer permits the anonymous statistical analysis by Desh of user activity on the Internet Web site to contribute to its development and optimization. A condition for Cookies use is their acceptance through a browser and their non-removal from a disk.
ShareTheMusic.com users who use the ShareTheMusic application installed on their computer generate system reports, which can contain identification data, e.g. public IP address. We use them exclusively for technical reasons and gathering general statistical information.
CONTENT PUBLISHED BY SHARETHEMUSIC.COM USERS
All content published on ShareTheMusic.com pages, such as: comments or messages published in forums, news and comments in both public and private groups, are visible to all portal users. Private messages sent to other users are only visible to those users.
USER ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
ShareTheMusic.com users can delete their accounts with the aid of a form available at http://www.www.sharethemusic.com/settings/account .
Deletion by Desh, on the request of a User, of personal data provided in the registration form, prevents Desh from providing ShareTheMusic.com services and as a result is equivalent to the User expressing consent to delete from the Web site all information of word-music files accessed. The renewal of a blocked identifier (Login) is possible after one week has lapsed.
We reserve the right to immediately delete any information published by a User that infringes ShareTheMusic.com regulations. To prevent the re-registration of a person, whose participation in ShareTheMusic.com was terminated due to the prohibited use of ShareTheMusic.com services, as the Website’s personal data Administrator we have the right to refuse the deletion of personal data necessary to block the possibility of re-registration.
INFORMATION SENT TO A USER
We reserve the right to send all ShareTheMusic.com Users e-mails of an information character, such as: sales information, marketing materials, advertising from the Personal Data Administrator and partners and contracting parties of the Administrator as well as on the request of other entities to the e-mail address provided by the User during registration. This consent can be terminated at any time, as well as expressed again through the sending of an e-mail to the User Service Department through the Contact page.
CONCLUDING RULES
The hereby privacy policy for user personal data on ShareTheMusic.com and rules connected with them are protected by Polish law and will be enforced through Polish law. The Personal Data Administrator for ShareTheMusic.com is Desh Ltd., with its registered office in Poland.
