ShareTheMusic retains the information about the music resources that are provided by its registered users.

ShareTheMusic acts as an intermediary between the sender (registered user acting as a source) and a recipient (registered user acting as a destination).

Every registered user participating in music sharing acknowledges that the shared music has been legally acquired.

The music provided via ShareTheMusic is available only for on-line listening; it is not available for copying and/or publishing (no copying, hiring, renting).

The music listening process is on the one-to-one basis; the provider of a given music piece makes it available at any moment only to a single recipient (no public performance and broadcasting).

ShareTheMusic goals include promoting legal music as well as cooperation with composers, authors, performers and music producers.
